Antonello Pellegrini Clarinet




Antonello Pellegrini, clarinet, began his musical studies at the age of seven under the guidance of Maestro De Renzis. He graduated with high distinction from the Conservatoruim of Music of Pescara, and undertook post-graduate studies with such distinguished performers as T.Fredly, I. Capicchioni, P. Borali, and A. Pay. Mr. Pellegrini has held the 1st clarinet chair with numerous ensembles, including: l'Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, ORA, i Musici dell'Aquarium di Napoli, AMP, Benedetto Marcello, Orchestra Sinfonica di Quito, Orchestra Sinfonica di Loja (Ecuador), Orchestra Sinfonica de Napoli, Orchestra da Camera delle Marche, Chamber Orchestra of Izhevsk (Russia), Orchestra di Strasburgo, Konzertburo of Freiburg, Orchestra Sinfonica Italiana, Orchestra di Minas Gerais (Brazil), Kaunas Chamber Orchestra (Lithuania), and the State Orchestra of Moldova,The New England Symphony Orchestra (Nerw York), The Cervantes Orchestra (Spain),The Chamber Orchestra of Rio de Janeiro, the Symphony Orchestra of Porto Alegre (Brazil), The Symphony Orchestra of Messico. He is also a founding member of both the D'Annunzio Quintet and I Fiati Italiani-solisti teatini, which were formed in 1988 and 1992, respectively. With each of these ensembles Antonello has performed in numerous concerts and tours throughout Italy, Europe, North America, South America, and Australia.Mr. Pellegrini has also received musical appointments with such famous orchestra and ensembles as: Carnegie Hall, Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, B. Barattelli, P. Riccitelli's Concert Society, Rai di Roma, Accademia Internazionale of Imola, Ente musicale di Ozieri, Teatro Salieri di Legnago,Society the Concert L. Barbara, the Australian Heidelberg Orchestra, St. Martin in the Fields, the Italian American Cultural Society of Detroit (USA),Melba Hall Melbourne, University of Music Canberra, Stockholm Radio, Freiburg Theatre (Germany), Kulturnidom of Nova Gorica (Slovenia), Teatro Universitario Bolivar of Loja, UFMG di Belo Horizonte (Brazil), Mesocco (Switzerland), Vienna, St. Polten (Austria),Simphony Orchestra of Mar del Plata (Argentina), Symphony Orchestra of Porto Alegro, (Brazil), and was invited to perform for Pope John Paul II.He has collaborated with such illustrious artists such as: C. Abbado, A. Pay, D. Renzetti, Milan's La Scala Soloists, L. Pavarotti, R. Muti, Joanshon, W. Humburg, R. Chailly,A. Bocelli, F.Mills, M. Larrieu,V. Parisi, M.Larrieu, G.Taddei,W. A. Kossuth, F. Cossotto, V. Mariozzi, E. Stinchelli,S.Rendine,V.Zucchiatti, F. di Rosa, F. Meloni, M. Maisky,K Ricciarelli, E. Morricone, G Proietti,was the Clarinet Soloist in the recording Film "Nurse" by Marco Bellocchio,and others. Mr. Pellegrini has recorded for Rome's Rai Network, Canada's NTV and Ecuador's TV National. He can also be heard on the Mondo Musica, Verlags, IKTIUS Arcadia, Bongiovanni, AULIA, Master Vision labels. He regularly gives master classes as a visiting performer at institutions such as the University of Melbourne and Canberrra (Australia), the Australian National University, the University of Ottawa, (Canada) the University of Detroit ( Usa), UFMG of Belo Horizonte(Brazil), the National Conservatorium of Music in Quito (Ecuador), the Conservatorium of Music in Madrid (Spain), The Symphony Orchestra of Porto Alegre (Brazil). He was also recently invited to play in the 23rd International Mitad Festival in Ecuador...In 2004, on invitation from Maestro Sergio Rendine, Mr. Pellegrini was selected to participate in the artistic direction of the Mozart Festival in the Teatro Marrucino of Chieti (Settimana Mozartiana), as organised by the Marrucino Theatre of Chieti. Since 2006, he is the Assistant Artistic Director at the Teatro Marrucino Chieti. Mr. Pellegrini currently teacher at the Conservatorio Perosi Campobasso.
